About the event
The Making Waves program is an aquatic therapy and adaptive kayaking initiative designed for persons with disabilities (PWDs) to improve physical health, boost confidence, and promote social integration through water-based activities. This pilot will focus on water familiarization and confidence-building, inclusive aquatic therapy, and a progressive transition to adaptive kayaking, empowering participants with functional gains and new recreational opportunities.
Our group sessions are conducted in small, supportive groups to ensure personalized attention and a safe, inclusive experience. Sessions will begin once the minimum number of participants is met.
